Dr. Tony Tran is a Houston native raised in the Northwest Houston area. He was educated at the University Of Houston College Of Optometry and is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Tran practices full scope Optometry which includes: Comprehensive Eye Examinations Contact Lens Fittings, Treatment and Management of Ocular Diseases, Dry Eye Treatment, Cataract Co-management and Lasik Evaluations. Dr. Tran has been in the Optometry Field for over 10 years. As a child, Dr. Tran had decreased vision, which led him to the Optometrist. The Optometrist knew exactly what it was that Dr. Tran needed. He provided him with excellent vision care, leaving him with great results. This made Dr. Tran comfortable and happy. His Optometrist was a great influence, leaving Dr. Tran interested in pursuing the Eye Care Field.
His professional interests include Glaucoma Treatment and Management, Specialty Contact Lenses and advancements in contact lens technology.
In his free time, Dr. Tran enjoys spending time with his wife, visiting various cultural events throughout Houston, he enjoys all of the Houston sports teams, participating in sports activities, working on cars, exploring restaurants and hanging out with friends. He is a huge fan of The Rockets and Texans! Dr. Tran is not only fluent in English but fluent in Vietnamese as well.
Dr. Tran grew up on the Southwest side of Houston but has had the experience of living throughout Houston. She had once lived in the Galleria Area as well as Energy Corridor and currently resides in Katy. Dr. Tran attended the University of Houston Main Campus for undergrad and graduated in 2007 with a Biology major and Chemistry minor. She then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry to graduate in 2012 (Suma Cum Laude). She has been working in the Optometry field since 2005, starting as an Optometrist Assistant but became fully invested when she started Optometry school in 2008. Dr. Tran has been wearing glasses since the third grade and was always intrigued with how the eye and vision works. She says she'll never forget how amazing it was to be able to put on glasses and see clearly for the first time and after this, knowing she wanted to help others improve their vision. Dr. Tran specializes in Glaucoma Treatment and Management, Cataract Co-Management, Lasik Evaluation, Dry Eye Treatment and treating red eyes and all contact lens complications. She also fits soft and hard contact lenses! Dr. Tran is very passionate about helping people see their best! Dr. Tran is not only fluent in English but fluent in Vietnamese as well.
In her spare time, she really enjoys reading a good book, hanging out with her family and friends and traveling with her husband, crossing places off of their Bucket List. Patches is her Shih-Tzu, that's another joyous thing she likes to invest her spare time into! What Dr. Lan Tran loves to do most out of all of the above, is spend quality time with her beautiful baby girl Elena.
Dr. Zubin B Chacko was born and raised in Houston, TX. Growing up in the Alief area, Dr. Chacko was heavily involved in numerous extracurricular activities during his school years. Choral singing was extremely close to his heart during his formative years and as a result saw him competing at district, regional, and state levels. He attended Houston Baptist University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science with majors in both Biology and Mathematics. Dr. Chacko then went on to complete both an MBA and MHA at Houston Baptist University before entering the business arena. After a couple of years in the field, the prevailing economic climate and job dissatisfaction caused him to seriously consider going back to school. A helpful suggestion from his wife, a degree in science, and an internal desire to find a profession that served others made Dr. Chacko settle on the decision to go back to optometry school. He attended the University of Houston College of Optometry where he was awarded a Clinical Letter of Excellence and was also given the honor by his classmates to be their 2017 student graduation commencement speaker.
Dr. Chacko is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. His interests lie in the diagnosis and management of various retinal conditions as well as dry eye and ocular surface disease. He enjoys truly getting to know his patients and establishing relationships that help him to truly understand his patient’s exact visual needs. He can speak English and Malayalam fluently as well as conduct a very basic Spanish examination. Dr. Chacko is also a member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association.
In his free time, you will probably find Dr. Chacko reading, watching Marvel and other superhero movies, or spending time with his immediate family and friends. He looks forward to serving you and your family at your next eye examination!

Ramiro's career goals are to grown within the optical field and Texas State Optical in hopes of running more than one store in the near future. "I love working with people and meeting all walks of life. I love when our patients know and feel that I have really taken the time to help them and make a difference in their visit." says Ramiro. Ramiro has phenomenal leadership skills, with a desire to help Willowbrook TSO associates and patients alike. He is passionate about helping the patients with their individual eye care needs and guiding his team to do the same. Ramiro can assist patients in both English and Spanish. Challenging himself and his staff with new obstacles on a daily basis is what gives him and his team drive. Outside of the office, Ramiro enjoys spending quality time with his son and daughters, "there is nothing I'd rather be doing... they are my proudest accomplishments." states Ramiro. Deanna joined TSO in February 2007 with over 20 years of Optical experience. She enjoys assisting new and former patients with all their eyewear needs. She moved here from New Orleans, LA 10 years ago and found her home at Texas State Optical. Deanna thoroughly enjoys assisting the patients in selecting the best glasses to fit their faces and personalities. Her favorite part of the job is watching first-time glasses wearer’s reactions when they put on their new glasses. Deanna carries with her in all of her years of experience, great Customer Service and an amplitude of product knowledge. She is always equipped and more than happy to help with patients Optical needs. Being a wife and a mother is Deanna's proudest accomplishment. Outside of work she loves family game nights, listening to music and watching movies. Her favorite pastime consists of reading mystery novels! Yolanda is a great contribution to the Texas State Optical team! She has such a fun-loving personality and positive attitude, always ready and willing to provide the patients with the best service. Yolanda is also fluent in English, Spanish and French! She plans to return to school in the near future to further her knowledge and become more informed in her current position. Her primary career goal is to move her way up with Texas State Optical to better herself as well as be the best she can be for her son. Her favorite part about her job is the fulfillment she receives being a part of the TSO team. Her co-workers provide her with great training and knowledge, helping her see and learn TSO's procedures as well as teaching her to provide the utmost customer service. Her proudest accomplishment is becoming a mother and a better person because of it! Outside of work, Yolanda likes to dance, draw, spend quality time with her son at the park and to fish. Her favorite childhood memory is spending the weekend camping out in Freeport, Texas while fishing the night away with her loved ones. Rubi, works in Patient Services. Have a question concerning your insurance benefits? At TSO Willowbrook, Rubi is the person to ask. She has great experience in the Optical field, always comes in with a positive attitude and is fluent in Spanish. Rubi has been with TSO Willowbrook over 5 years. Her favorite part about her job is the bond she has created with her co-workers. She firmly believes they are an excellent team who are equipped to help their patients with their greatest requirements. Rubi is great with all of the patients and is very familiar with all insurance plans. Her proudest accomplishment is her children. Rubi is usually with her husband and children in her spare time! "I miss my children being little." Rubi states. This is one of her all-time favorite pastimes. An American comedian and actor, Milton Berle gives Rubi a quote that she admires below:

Nancy has a passion for Customer Service and loves to learn new things in and outside of work. One day she would like to join an organization similar to All Hands Volunteers which is a US-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering disaster relief volunteers around the world (Hands.Org). The Optical Field has been a wonderful experience for Nancy as she has great passion in watching the reaction and joy on patient’s faces, (especially children) when they get their new eyewear, affecting their vision in a favorable way. Nancy's personality is a significant asset to our team. She is always greeting patients with a smile and helping them be as comfortable as possible. Nancy is not only fluent in English but fluent in Spanish as well. Helping someone less fortunate than herself as well as staying strong through many of life's obstacles are some of Nancy's proudest achievements. Outside of work, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family, watching soccer, gardening with her father and learning ASL and photography. Her favorite childhood memory is when she would go to Mexico and help her grandfather pick guava fruit!
Daisy’s career goals are to grow with Willowbrook Texas State Optical and adventure into new challenging positions. Daisy enjoys learning new things and meeting new people. Helping people learn about their individual vision care needs and the importance of their eye care health is what Daisy does best. Daisy is very versatile, she is always willing to help out wherever she is needed and is fluent in Spanish. Outside of the office, Daisy is dedicated to her Church and spending quality time with her family. Helping her children with their school projects as well as lending a hand to someone in need is something Daisy is personally passionate about. Another one of Daisy’s hobbies outside of work is dancing. Daisy’s favorite childhood memory is the exciting road trips she use to take as a child to visit her family in Mexico. You will often catch Daisy reminiscing about the days she use to play soccer as a child! A favorite quote of Daisy’s comes from the Bible:

Hannah has attended college, driven to pursue a higher education that surrounds her passion! She is responsible and committed, always lending a helping hand to our patients in need. Her proudest accomplishment is paying her way through school. Hannah loves to hike when not in the office and enjoys the outdoors. A favored pastime of hers is riding Hunter Jumper, winning a District Championship in 2014. "I was so surprised!" says Hannah. Hanna also speaks Hindi, yet broken but is determined to master the language. Seeing the satisfaction and happiness on patient’s faces when receiving their new eye glasses is what Hannah treasures most about her job and she looks forward to helping you!
Saiga is passionate about Willowbrook TSO's patients and the medical field. She is a lending hand in need to her colleagues and the patients alike. Saiga is very sweet, helpful, respectful and a trustworthy Optician, always working for the patients best interest. She comes to work with a servant heart and a willing attitude to help where she is needed. Her goal has always been to be the best she can. When Saiga isn't at work she thoroughly enjoys cooking and cleaning at home! Saiga's favorite childhood memory is getting first place in a competition at school and is she very competitive. Saiga can not only speak English but can speak Hindi and Urdu as well. Her proudest accomplishment is becoming a part of the TSO team and being able to assist patients with their vision care needs. An all-time favorite quote of Saiga’s is, "God help those, who help others!"
Alex joined the TSO family in 2014 and brings with him many years' experience as an Optical Lab Technician. He learned discipline and how to multi-task as an Eagle Scout in the Boys Scouts of America. If you have a questions about your glasses, Alex will get you an answer! Alex's favorite part of his job is helping the patients in need. He puts a lot of time into his work with many skills and much knowledge. Alex will provide you with excellent customer service! His proudest accomplishment is taking apart his first motorcycle to paint it and reassemble it all within two weeks. Another one of his greatest accomplishments is swapping motors in his sports car! Outside of work, Alex likes to spend quality time with his family and friends, work on mechanical things, play guitar, play games and visit parks. A favorite pastime of Alex's is going camping and hiking in the mountains.
